There are still some TV shows people are eagerly waiting to watch before the year runs out. Here are some anticipated TV series for the rest of the year,2022.
5 Anticipated TV Series for the rest of 2022
- Willow
If you are familiar with the original Willow film then I’m sure you were excited when you heard a Willow Tv series will be released. Sadly, the Willow series is not a sequel to the original series, per se as it takes place years after the events in the movie and new characters are introduced. This is a fantasy series where an unlikely group of heroes join forces to defeat an evil queen. This group includes an infant girl who is destined for greatness and an aspiring magician who takes up the journey to rescue someone and banish the forces of darkness. Willow will be available on Disney+ on the 30th of November.
2. The Witcher: Blood Origin
The Witcher: Blood Origin is a prequel and takes place in an Elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher. We are hoping that Blood Origin will be able to wipe some of our tears after hearing the sad news from Henry Cavill. Blood Origin tells the story of seven outcasts who join forces in a quest against an all-powerful empire. The Witcher: Blood Origin will be on Netflix December 25th.
3. Wednesday
Wednesday is a horror comedy Television series based on Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family. Smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) investigates a murder spree which might involve her parents while making new friends and foes at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday is coming to Netflix on the 23 of November.
4. Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin
If you loved Pitch Perfect 1,2 and 3 then this TV series might interest you. I’m going to give you a heads up, the Barden Bellas are not seen in the series. This spinoff Tv series follows Bumper Allen’s story as he moves to Berlin to pursue his music career. We all know Bumper Allen from all 3 Pitch Perfect movies and he is joined by some newcomers like Jameela Jamil who is starring in Marvel’s She-Hulk. Peacock’s Bumper in Berlin will be available on the 23rd of November.
5. His Dark Materials
If you haven’t watched Season 1 and 2 of His Dark Materials, I advise you to give it a watch. I’ve been anticipating Season 3 and it doesn’t seem like I will be disappointed after watching the trailer. The trailer shows Lord Asriel gathering an army to take on the Authority while Lyra is back with her mother after the events that happened in Season 2. We are also shown Will and Lyra’s journey into the land of the dead. Season 3 is the final season of His Dark Materials and it looks quite promising. Season 3 of His Dark Materials will be out on the 5th of December on HBOmax.
