1.Let It Snow
This Christmas special tells the stories of a group of high school seniors in a small town, Gracetown, during a severe snowstorm on Christmas Eve. The snowstorm begins to affect the friendships, love lives and futures of these high school seniors and on Christmas day, nothing might ever be the same. There are a lot of popular faces like Isabela Merced, Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon and more in this Christmas movie.
2.Holidate
Two strangers bump into each other while standing in a returns line at the mall and begin to vent about their terrible holiday. Seems like they are both fed up with being single on holidays so the two strangers agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones all year long. We all know how all romance movies end and this romantic Christmas movie is no exception as they end up catching feelings for each other.
3.Jingle Jangle
Jingle Jangle was also a great Christmas movie on Netflix because of the story line and the nearly all-black cast which is not quite popular. The story is told by an old woman from a huge book with spinning gears on the book cover. This is a fantasy movie where an imaginary world comes to life in a holiday tale of an unconventional toymaker named Jeronicus Jangle, his adventurous granddaughter, and a magical invention that has the power to change their lives forever. Jangle has a whole notebook filled with designs for his enchanting toys and a store called Jangles and Things filled with happy customers.
4.The Knight Before Christmas
This Netflix original Christmas movie starring Vanessa Hudgens is a medieval English knight is magically transported to present-day America where he falls for a high school science teacher who is disillusioned by love. This is quite a cheesy movie which might be a little silly because none of these things could ever happen but what’s a romance movie without some cheesiness. At first she believes he must have lost his memories so she indulges in his weird antics but as time goes on she starts to believe he is from the past. The Knight doesn’t seem to be in a rush to return home and she doesn’t seem to be concerned that he is from the past so as in all Christmas movies, they begin to fall in love.
5.Hard Love
The next Christmas movie is about a girl from LA who falls for an East Coast guy named Tag on a dating app and decides to surprise him for the holidays. On getting there, she discovers that she’s been catfished by Tag’s friend who is looking for love. Being the desperate Hopeless romantic that she is, instead of leaving, she decides to stay. That part didn’t sit well with some viewers because she seemed so desperate for a boyfriend that she looked past the deceit but atlas the title does say ‘Hard Love’.
