I don’t know what’s going on over at Apple TV+ but with the new wave of movies and series trailers that have been released, it seems like a lot of Hollywood’s big names are creating some amazing pieces with them. It seems like Apple TV+ is where you want your eyes glued to from now on.
One of the many movies and series that had a trailer released yesterday was the movie; Ghosted, with Ana de Armas and Chris Evans starring as the main characters, and love interests. Judging from the trailer it’s going to be one hell of a ride for a movie. But do we really need a trailer to know that a Chris Evans and Ana de Armas movie is going to be amazing? The pair have worked on three different movies together, and put on 5-star performances. Those movies include The Gray Man, Knives Out, and now Ghosted. They are the pair that the world never knew it needed.
Individually, they are also two of the most prominent actors on the planet. I mean, when you’ve played Captain America and led Marvel’s Avengers for multiple years, you don’t get any more prominent than that. Ana de Armas herself is just fresh off an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, for her role as Marilyn Monroe in the biopic Blonde. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role as Marta Cabrera in the popular mystery film franchise: Knives Out.
Now, guess who was also in the 2019 Knives Out movie? Chris Evans, ladies and gentlemen, Chris Evans. They both just work so well together, and their chemistry is only getting better and better, as we can see from the Apple TV+ Ghosted trailer.
The trailer opens up with Cole (Chris Evans) asking Sadie (Ana de Armas) if she wanted to go out sometime. They both go out (multiple times), and Cole thinks she’s the one for him. But then she leaves for work, and Cole starts to text her frequently (a lot!). But get this. She ghosts him. The poor man was sending hundreds of texts to himself like a crazy person. I mean, who ghosts Chris freaking Evans.
He decides to go meet her in London where she is apparently working and gets the surprise of his life. He gets captured by some people and gets tortured while being asked a couple of questions about an agent. He gets busted out by Sadie who looks to be some kind of agent/MI6. Ghosted focuses on the crazy and dangerous missions they both end up embarking on. Will they come out of it still in love with each other, or will they (more importantly) come out alive?
Ghosted is definitely one you do not want to miss when it’s released. The movie literally has it all. Action, romance, adventure, thrill, and two of the most important factors: Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.
