James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy movie is deep into auditioning and castings right now, and there have been rumors here and there on a daily basis, but we can now confirm some of the top choices for Lois Lane.
Emma Mackey, Phoebe Dynevor, Samara Weaving, and Rachel Brosnahan among many others. According to reports Rachel Brosnahan gave the most impressive/outstanding audition of all the actresses. She’s popularly known for her most recent as Mrs. Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series on Prime Video. We all know and love Phoebe for her time as Daphne Bridgerton on Netflix’s Bridgerton series, and Samara Weaving just recently starred in Scream VI.
We’ve also seen and heard some rumors, and speculation about Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron on Netflix’s Outer Banks, auditioning for the role too. She also followed the DCU on social media. What that means for the future, we don’t know. For all we know it could be a different role.
According to a new report, James Gunn will apparently introduce a lot of DC heroes in the Superman: Legacy movie. So, Madelyn could be playing the new Supergirl or Black Canary (this would be kind of perfect).
Time will tell who we will get to see in the massive, pivotal movie, but it is an exciting time for DC fans, and we can’t wait to see what the full casting looks like.
