About a year ago, we got to see Austin Butler’s take on Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biographical movie. Well, now we are getting a deeper look into the Presley family with Sofia Coppola’s biography about Elvis’s wife Priscilla Presley.
Priscilla is an upcoming American biographical film written and directed by Sofia Coppola based on Priscilla Presley’s memoir Elvis and Me, which she co-wrote with Sandra Harmon, and follows Priscilla’s life and relationship with Elvis Presley. Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi star as Priscilla and Elvis, respectively.
Priscilla is scheduled to release in October 2023 but an actual date has not been confirmed yet. We should be hearing news about the release date very soon as October really isn’t all that far away. Priscilla looks and feels like quite the interesting watch, giving us insight into who she is while making us see her world, and Elvis’s world, through her eyes.
