If I am being totally honest, I didn’t expect The Mandalorian to be as successful as it has been when I first saw the trailer for the first season. I thought to myself, Star Wars show? Without no Jedi? Nobody’s going to watch that, I know I won’t. Well, I couldn’t be more wrong. Mando and Grogu have stolen all our hearts with every episode and they’re going on three seasons strong now. But it looks like things are really just starting to heat up and get more interesting than the show already was.
But let’s talk about something for a bit. Am I the only one who didn’t know who Mando was, even in real life? Of course, a Google search could have solved that but I only found out it was Pedro Pascal after Season 2. The man himself, Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones. The way he died still haunts me to this day. He is also starring in HBO’s insane hit series The Last of Us. But he has taken on the role of the Mandalorian and given us the best Mandalorian experience anyone could ask for.
This season we’re going to get to see more of the Mandalorians and explore the Galaxy too while we’re at it. Grogu looks like he’s maturing more and more, with each season. Of course, he still looks like a tiny little teddy bear. We’ve all seen how short master Yoda was. So, yh, it’s going to take Grogu a while to grow physically, but mentally, he is maturing and learning how to use the force better.
From Season 3’s trailer, Mando is going back to Mandalore to seek forgiveness for his transgressions. But it looks like it’s not going to be an easy road, but he is Mando. There’s nothing he and Grogu can’t handle by themselves, and sometimes with a little bit of help too.
Season 3 is shaping up to be the best one yet. But is there any surprise? The show only grows better and better, it looks like we even get to see some young Jedi action. So, just sit back and let all the drama and action roll out. As Mando himself would say:
“This is the way.”
