Posted by We just got the first official teaser for The Marvels and it looks like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun.
The Marvels might just be one of the best movies to come out of the MCU this year, and it’s really not hard to see why. The only movies it will be contending with are Spider-man: Across The Spider-Verse and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, which look like absolutely stunning movies in their own right. Regardless of which one of them turns out to be the best, it really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that we are getting quality entertainment from Marvel, as usual.
Speaking of quality entertainment, The Marvels trailer also involves Nick Fury, who we will probably see throughout the movie. Nick’s series, Secret Invasion, is also coming out very soon, and it looks like action you do not want to miss.
The Marvels follows Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) whose powers become entangled when Monica touches a wormhole linked to the Kree that she was investigating. Now, when any of them uses their powers they switch places with each other randomly, no matter where they are. The three of them team up to find out who or what is behind this.
Honestly, it’s great to see Kamala back on the big screen, Ms. Marvel was a great watch, and she just has a lively and entertaining aura around her. Don’t be surprised if she steals the show. We last saw Monica in Wandavision, and as usual, she’s always touching things. Her light-energy manipulation powers look great too. And Captain Marvel is always ready to kick some ass.
The Marvels is not one you want to miss. It’s got it all, from nerve-wracking action to pure comedy, drama, and fun. The ladies are tryna show us how it’s done with this one, and I will be seated.
