Season 1 of The Summer I Turned Pretty took the world by storm last year, and rapidly built up a strong fan base for the show. Season 2 is almost here and Belly and her indecisive and confused self is back with her too.

Are any Team Benrad stans in here? We don’t do Team Jelly in here. If you thought Season 1 was a rollercoaster of confusion on Belly’s part in terms of what she wanted well, Season 2 is set to look so much worse. It’s not entirely clear but from the trailer, it looks like Belly is consciously moving from one brother to another trying to pick which one she wants. Or it could be her trying to be there for both of her childhood friends. Things are also much more intense because Conrad and Jeremiah’s mum’s cancer has returned, and the summer house they all made memories in is now up for sale. So, Belly takes it upon herself to bring them all together and happy again.

“Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies”

The Summer I Turned Pretty is back for season 2 on July 14th exclusively on Prime Video.
