Lara Jean and Peter’s movie trilogy had a great ending but if you thought that would be the ending of the franchise then you couldn’t be more wrong. Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty, is getting a new spinoff series on Netflix. If you love Never Have I Ever and (of course) To All The Boys I’ve Ever Loved, then you’re going to love this one.
The series follows Kitty as she seeks her dad’s approval to go to Seoul, Korea to study at a school that her “boyfriend” (Dae) goes to. A school that turns out to be where her mum attended too when she was younger. Her dad grants her permission to go “have sex with her boyfriend” indirectly, as he says himself. She hops on the plane and flies to Seoul ready to start her new life with Dae by her side, only for her to discover that Dae has a girlfriend.
She’s left in shock and knocks over a table. She looks to pick up the pieces and fight for the man (boy), and the life that she wants. She says she didn’t come to Seoul for a boy, and that it wasn’t all about him. She also wants to experience new things, and new adventures (it’s all about a boy lol). XO, Kitty puts her journey on full display and how she tackles problems that come her way.
It looks like a drama-filled, comedy series that would be fun to watch. I mean it’s Kitty, she’s hilarious. XO, Kitty streams exclusively on Netflix on the 18th of May.
